This policy explains which cookies and trackers are used on the IdealCV website and service, what they do and how you can manage your choices.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit a website. It can, for example, keep you signed in or remember your language. In this policy, "cookie" covers all trackers, including similar technologies such as the browser's local storage.
Under French and EU rules, cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work can be set without your consent. All other cookies require your prior agreement.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential: without them, you couldn't sign in or use the Service securely. They are not used for advertising or to track you on other websites.

No audience measurement or marketing tool is currently active on IdealCV. If we add one, this table will be updated and we will ask for your consent again.
In every case, no non-essential cookie loads before you give your consent.
Your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you:
- accept all;
- refuse all, just as easily as accepting, with a button of equal prominence;
- customise your choices category by category.
Closing the banner without making a choice does not count as consent.
Your choice is stored for 6 months in the recto_consent cookie. When that period ends, we ask you again.
To keep proof of your choice, we record an anonymous identifier, the categories accepted or refused and the date. This log is kept for 13 months.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you gave your consent: click the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page and update your choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Be aware that if you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to sign in to your account or use some features.

We will update this policy whenever a cookie is added, changed or removed. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
